I have taken private lessons at this school during summer 2007 and used their translation service last month. I say the teachers are very good and the staffs are friendly and very helpful. I heard the school has been under NEW MANAGEMENT since May 2007. I believe they are doing a great job now.
Completely agree with karanag17. Very dishonest.: I suggest taking the courses you need on an actual college campus. This is a private business that worries mostly about the money and not the students. The problem lies with the "Director" and office staff who function in a completly dishonest way. If you do attend, I suggest bringing a tape recorder to any conversations with those who run the place so you can prove what they say to you later. It is extremly difficult to someone working on Mastering English, especially when they aren't direct and honest. Most people assume the Language Learner just misunderstood. This is not the case at this place.
Good teachers, dishonest business practices: Be careful here. They may charge you for a class and not offer your proficiency level. The director won't refund your money even though the class level is way too hard. Also, our teacher was out and rather than get a sub, they showed us a video for 3 sessions!!!! Any chance to save money. Text books consistently arriving late. 3 weeks into the semester.
If you can get your level and afford the expense, the teachers are really good. They seem to be real teachers not just drifting college students or people looking for a way to stay in the US.
Nice location, close to Old Town. Tasteful and upkept classrooms.

I was there in the winter of 2006 and my impression was the director was not a truthful person and those who worked for her were very rude.
I had the same experience. Terrible. I took my English courses at a college. I did not trust my meeting with the director, as I noticed she said a few things that contradicted.
