I have been going to CCB for over 15 years and I have never had a mediocre meal. The beer is good to great, the service is fine and its a good solid place to get a good sandwhich/burger and fries, drink alot of beer and sit back with your friends and talk and not feel rushed. Not having to deal with the old town parking situation is a strong enough reason for me to decide to go there.
I went on Sunday to this place...
I've been here before and it was OK...food just ok, good beer
selection but freshness of beer just ok, not much atmosphere, and overpriced, but OK
place to watch sports as you can avoid overcrowded Colorado Blvd.
However, las Sunday I went, it was not even crowded (probally 1/4 full of people)...The Red-Sox/ Angels game was playing, but all the TVs were tuned
to football...with the number of TVs they had it would
have been easy to accomodate us with one TV to watch the baseball playoff game and still
show all the NFL games...
but they refused out-of-hand to change any tv's away from football...not a good practice for
a sports bar to deny a customer's request if you have a lot of extra TVs...i will strongly encourage everyone i know
to avoid that place like the plague...a pox on its snooty overpriced, no character, house..
