Din Tai Fung Dumpling House

This place is great ! I can't believe the negative comments. WE have been going there since it opened and was reviewed in the L A Times.

We have never found anything to complain about. Many of the gals know us by name, we get good service always. and the food is always great !

I don't know how you could complain. Please try it again. WIth the new part opened up, the lines are much shorter, and on week nights, almost non existent.

One of our favorites, and I have been to China and Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Everyone that gave this place 1 star Dont know S**T. Yes the wait can be long and yes the service is not the best but the foor is always 100%. i go there at least once a week and the food is always very good. Me and my wife have ate at alot of dumpling house's and this place kills all of them......

My wife and I love his place. Since they opened the second restaurant behind the original the wait is no longer ridiculous. We used to order a couple of to go orders that we would eat in the parking lot prior to being seated because the wait was so long. The juicy pork dumplings are our favorite. We try to get out there with a group of friends every single time we can. The service is great although we have experienced the scale back recommendation. We ignore that advice every time. The fifth star is not earned for the lack of beer or some kind of alcoholic beverage. That's just our preference.
