Avoid this particular Burger King. I went to this Burger King located on 523 N Central Ave, Glendale, CA. I went to through the drivethrough late on Thursday night. There was no one behind me and the restaurant was practically empty. I order my burger "over broiler" which they call OB. When I paid for my meal the manager tells me that I have to wait in the parking lot. I told her that there was no one behind me. She slammed the driver through window and walked away. When my meal was ready she openned her window again told me that she was not going to honor the OB request anymore because as she said "everything we have is fresh". I asked her what her problem was because if it is not done your way I might as well go to McD's across the street. She said she was the manager and that was the rule and she shoved the bag in my car and slammed the window on me.
Here is the catch people. The next day I went to complain and it turns out that this Burger King even though you say Over the Broiler they really do it but if you catch them when they are slow they do not want to do it...at least this particular franchise...so I caught them at a time when they were not busy and they had the burgers just sitting around and it would be such a waste for them to put a new patty on it for me. They did not want to put a fresh patty on.
I went to other burger kings with similar settings and they honored my request. For this reason I refuse to go back to this store. Funny how I would go there twice a week spending close to seven bucks each time. They just lost close to a thousand bucks in sale from this guy.
Go to the Burger King on Glenoaks and Colorado Blvd.
Besides, you have to ask for ketchup and napkins. Avoid this burger king at all costs.
Steakhouse burger is the best burger I have ever tried. New breakfast wraps are fantastic for the morning commute.
