User Rating: 4 out of 5 stars by CL 01/09/2010 My freezer wasn't cooling today, and everything was melting in the freezer. The compressor wasn't working, and the fan in the freezer was blowing loud but not blowing cold air. I called AM PM Appliance Repair around 12:30pm. The dispatcher couldn't quote me a price. They said the technician would need to see what the problem was to tell me how much it would cost. The dispatcher did say there would be a minimum of $38 service charge for the technician to come out. He gave me a 1-4pm waiting window. At 1pm the technician Mike came out. He was very polite and professional. He checked the compressor and the control board. Unfortunately the control board had to be replaced, which would be expensive. The price I think was kind of steep, (I paid about $350 including the new control board $175+tax and labor $154). However, the service was good, and everything was fixed in about an hour. Mike also vacuumed the compressor for me.
