User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsEach and everytime I come to Mountasia, the guys who work the go karts ALWAYS give my son a hard time. He's only 11 years old and he doesn't understand why they treat him different, but I know why.

I have been going to Mountasia in Santa Clarita since it opened. I remember when they had a small McDonald's in it.
I have 4 kids, spread out in ages and we have never had any problems or experiences like what I read. Are you all sure we went to the same place? There are other Mountasia's in other states. This one I know is independant and not part of a chain.
The staff they have is great. Most are teens but they have always been wonderful to me and my kids. Even when my daughter got a bee sting, they really took care of her. The Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor they have is like the old Farrell's I use to go to in the valley. The food is great, better than Red Robin and cheaper. The ice cream is the BEST! We usually go there once a month for a couple hours, eat, play, pick up a few prizes and leave feeling pretty good. It's a fun place. As far as their security, I know they are off duty police (or maybe Sheriff)but again, they have always seemed very professional. I watched them eject a kid from the go karts and they were pretty calm. I think it's a very safe place and have dropped off my kids numerous times with their friends and never worry about them as I know the security team is good. Sometimes I think people act like idiots and try to blame others which sounds like "anti Mountasia". Overall, Mountasia is a great place and they do a lot for our community which is more than I can say for most other businesses in town. -

Amazing that you could have a bad experience throughout the whole place. I go there 2 or 3 times a year and never have a problem. I don't understand the LAPD reference. This area is in L.A. County and is patrolled by the Sheriff's. Is it possible he said LASD instead?

So let me get this right. Each time you go, the employees give your 11 year old son a hard time, yet you keep bringing him back. Wow, you must really respect your son to put him through that. Can we say you are just making up this post?
To Robert 240 First of all it's only the ignorant kids who work the go karts not the entire place. Secondly, I usually take him once a year to a birthday party, however I will not be taking back to Mountasia ever. Third, of course you don't know what it's like being treated different, you're probably just as bad as they are. Can we say you people do this to others who don't look like you on a regular basis?
Wow!!! You certainly are a racist and playing the race card. You don't even have to say it to see that's what you are doing. Go somewhere else then.
