I, along with about a dozen close friends, have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years...never!!! have we had poor service. Everyone has been delightful, friendly, and interesting to talk with. The food is always fantastic, and cooked to order. The Filet melts in your mouth. They also have the best Sunday brunch! We go to relax in the peaceful setting, both inside and out on the patio, sometimes spending up to 3 hours enjoying the atmosphere. We consider this to be the finest dining around!!!! People who put this restaurant down, just don't appreciate French Food....plese don't belittle this restaurnat for those of who love it!!!!!
I agree...we ignored the chinzy decor and convenience store lighting, but the service people there are horrid. Rude, careless, and just blantantly unfriendly. I asked if they had any specials, and the juvenile snot seating us looked at me, rolled her eyes, and stated "We dont have "specials" and then we saw her talk to our waitress, laugh and they both shook their heads...unbelievable...I didnt even want to stay...we ordered and received our food in a timely manner, but it was strange looking...too much sauce on everything, like they were trying to hide something. The taste was ok, but nothing exciting. I think maybe this was a good place, but the hiring of young arrogant teenagers, and poor management has ruined it...I thought maybe we went on a "bad" night, but after reading the other reviews, well, there you have it.
French?????: The only thing French about this place is the name of the place and the french words on the menu. All the sauces taste as though they are canned or mixes, no depth of taste here. No pommes frites, no harcourt verts. Potatoes only on sunday and then its augratin. Maybe 40 items on the menu but nothing pops. The same vegetables served with every meal, boiled zuchini and mashed carrots. The duck is pre cooked so it cannot be ordered rare. The filet Mignon came smothered with cheese sauce, it looked like bisquits and gravey. This may be French for Agua Dulce but not worth the trip from town.
