Just serviced my 2001 325ci at 97,000 miles. This is the first time at Valencia BMW for me as I had all prior service at Century West. I found the staff friendly and the work discussed was completed. My service guy was friendly and explained everything to me. I will take my BMW there again. I love this car so much that I want to drive it until the wheels fall off :)
This is absolutely the worse service place in the world. I've taken both my X5 and 750I there, and they have never met my expectations or timeline on when the repairs are suppose to be done. The 3 times I took my car there, they are late by days in the repairs, are rude, never return your calls, and are just incompetent. I found that even when they said a repair was done, it wasn't. This was the only choice in my area, but I'd rather drive 45 minutes than to get my car serviced here ever again. CONSUMERS BEWARE.
Three years ago, we leased a 4.4i X5 at Valencia BMW. This month, the lease expires. We're still deciding whether to keep the car or return it then get the new '07 X5. Until one rainy morning in Long Beach, the sunroof broke and was stuck open. We had to rush to Valencia BMW to get it repaired since it had been raining for days. The service manager told us it would cost around $3,800 to replace, not repair, the sunroof since the car had 54,750 miles on it - out of warranty. We thought about returning the car if it would cost less than repairing the sunroof. But the service manager said we would still need to replace the sunroof even if we decided to return the car. We were out of luck. Feeling bad about it, she said she'd talk to her boss and see if they could do something about it. Twenty minutes later, she came back and said the dealer would replace the sunroof free of charge out of GOODWILL. Wow! I felt like I just won a bet. So right there and then, we decided to keep the car. I felt that the service manager when out of her way to make the deal work for both parties. I was glad that it was her who helped us. The service manager we normally dealt with wouldn't have done the same thing. I'm very thankful for what the dealer had done for us. I understand that they really would rather have us purchase the car than they having to resell it at the lot. But under our current circumstances, it works out perfectly for us to keep the car. It's a win-win. But at the end of the day, I don't like most of the service managers at this dealership. They're not as friendly as one will expect them to be. The girls at the front desk aren't the friendliest either. I say this because I compare this dealer to a Honda dealership in Culver City. We had an '04 Honda Pilot - the one we traded in for the X5. This service manager, Jaime, who we used to deal with was the best. He was very friendly, courteous, and very helpful. We were very satisfied customers. Ultimately, we love our BMW. The Zero Maintenance Program is unmatched.

Funny how you think it was a win-win. Your the only one who won. The dealer got nothing. Not even a new sale. I hope you keep that in mind when you go to purchase another car.
