This is home away from home for us X Pats. Food is pretty good (especially the currys) the atmosphere is really good. Entertainment on some days also. There's a bar and then the restaurant.. we prefer the bar. It's a little outdated decor wise but lots fo pubs in England are like this. Staff is great. Want to feel like your at home in Sunny California... go here. Also they have British Sports on the many TV's we go to watch the rugby and the soccer.

Let's call it what it is - a fun, hole-in-the-wall type pub (or dive bar, if you will) where the food is not great, it's greasy bar food, but there are occasions where that is exactly what you want and they accomodate. It has an authentic British feel and it's not expensive. I just want to know how it got categorized as Latin American food? That is soooo off.

This place has good food and a good selection of beer. Two signs of real authenticity are the bottles of vinegar on the tables (so you can enjoy real chips/fries) and the fact that I can ask for a black velvet and not get a confused look from the server. This place has a homey atmosphere to it, and the french dip I had here was very good, regardless of it being pub fare or not. This place broadcasts football/soccer games, so it can get rowdy sometimes. However, if you go in the afternoon you'll usually find elderly couples enjoying a good cup of tea and good food.
