The person who goes by the name of "me" doesn't know what they are talking about; my family and I have been dining at Le Frite in Sherman Oaks every month for many years, and the service is always excellent, with a courteous and knowledgable staff. The food is also outstanding (see my review above). Due to the popularity of Le Frite, it is often crowded, which accounts for the occasional waiting period; however, the wait is NEVER extreme. This attractive - and classy - restaurant has a charming, "old-world" European atmosphere; in Europe, diners enjoy an unhurried pace, so very different from the rudely rushed pace in so many American restaurants; the person called "me" should keep this in mind. How delightlful to enjoy a glass of French red wine at the bar, while waiting for a table. Le Frite is highly recommended!
