This is absolutely the best mexican food in possibly all of L.A.
I'm a vegetarian, so my entree's are a bit limited, but the same thing goes for as any other resaurant as well.
I love the sope's which i just get without meat, and they always put avocodos in them in place of the meat for me. Huge portions that allways end up and empty plate afterwards.
My GF doesn't like mexican food at all, and this is the only mexican food she will eat!
great staff of two wonderful female cooks, and a very personable owner.
heres how great the food is...
I suffer through terrible bouts of depression in which i dont want to eat at all for days, but if i force myself to get PicoPicoRica takeout, and force myself to take one bite, I allways devour the entire meal!
sometimes i eat there 4 or 5 days in a row!
today I went to Fogoto for a change, and although they have good food too, I was really upset with my decision because I had to actually passed by e by PICO on my way to it, and I was like 'WHY"????
In a valley full of Mexican food, this is tops: I've always said that if a meteor wipes out the valley, only two places need to survive, and one of them is pico rico. The other...well? I'll let you decide what that is.
Why? - cilantro and lime salsa.
Only problem is that they are not open on Sunday and it just so happens that their food is great hangover fighter. Therefore it would be great if they were open on Sunday.
