Wonderful Show. Unforgettable Performance: We've been Colony subscribers for three seasons now and continually marvel at the high quality and low cost of their offerings. Ron Campell is a master thespian who held the audience in his thrall for the entire 90+ minutes (no intermission; the nature of the play requires an unbroken tension from start to finish. The humor is mixef with pathos but the ending made us think about how awful life was in France during World War II. The audience, with a large number of seriors, gave Campell a standing, very loud and long ovation at the conclusion. This is a very unusual portrayal of a very difficult subject but as the program notes point out, Carol Wolf's script was without emotion or acting cues; she left that up to Mr. Campbell; a very wise decision because the show, and Campbell's performance was unforgettable. BRAVO!
