I hit here at least once or twice a week....Great place. Never crowded. Good shade. Decent mats. Very reasonable prices and great quality balls. Nice shop with snacks and cold drinks and a nice stock of equipment and accessories...Always a nice breeze on a hot day...
Went for the first time last weekend and truly enjoyed it. It wasn't crowded, the facilities were well maintained, the prices were reasonable ($18 for all day play, $14 for Jumbo bucket, $8 for large bucket, $6 for small bucket). You are in the shade while hitting, sun isn't in your eyes, pads were decent (remember to bring rubber tees if you want to hit off of a tee). The range has a lot of obstacles for perfecting the short shots as well as the long drives. I will be returning as this is the best public range in the area that I have found thus far.
if you just want to hit golf balls, then this is one of the best places to visit. nice mats, clean balls, and cheap price. its only 5 minutes from my house, but i have practiced at knollwood, encino, woodley lakes van nuys, hansen dam, and this spot is the best for price and targets galore. if brookside were closer, i would probably go there on tuesdays or thursdays (woodley lakes never has hittable grass when i visit). good value and a nice shop. only desire would be for a nicer practice green
