We might find a camera less expensive else where but will buy at Powell for their great customer service and help when needed. You know they will stand behind what they sell and they carry good quality products.

There is absolutely no scale that can measure the man-crush that I have with Powell Camera. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and has the best customer service I've seen in a very long time. I'm glad that not all stores are of this caliber because this one surely sets the bar for not only just camera/photography stores, but the retail industry in general.
They had everything I was looking for and more! I went in looking for a simple tripod and hoods for my lenses, but I spending twice as much as I intended (and am glad I did). -
