   THIS PLACE IS TOO $$$$, THE LADIES ARE NOT VERY NICE AND IT IS JUST OVER RATED .. SAVE YOUR $$$ AND YOUR TIME.

   The pastries in this bakery are average, and on the high end pricewise if you compare it with places like Kee Wah or Diamond Bakery in the area, who have much better quality. Since it is local, I frequent just about everything in the area, but I tired of this place. The croissants and danishes are brought in, not baked there, and I know they are not replaced daily since I happened to see the exact same pieces on consecutive days. I asked for a brownie and the lady said it would be a half hour to defrost them, so I am led to believe they are not baked fresh. The fruit pastries and cookies are baked on site, and if you like butter, this will be for you. They do not have much taste to them besides butter though. and the bread, which is baked onsite, is expensive, and average.
   The service here is abhorrent. I saw the owner yell at a customer because he asked for a box, and was denied because boxes are not given for "bread". I have never seen such a spectacle, with the owner demading fifty cents for a box before finally relenting. Another time, I saw the owner yell at a customer and her employee about a cup of coffee, but attibuted it to being an islolated incident. Nevertheless, this being my second bad experience, and the pastry being average, I am sure there are other bakeries in town. I do not like hearing "crazy white customer" in Cantonese or any other language even if that is not my personal nationality. In any event, my experience here was negative, and though I do not see any other bakeries on the block, if you drive up Atlantic a bit, you will find much better stuff in Monterey park.

   Perfect!!! You will Crave Kelley's!!! I Promise!!!: First off, I have been a loyal customer for many many years. The minute you walk in the doors, you smell the fabulous aromas of pastries, then you are greeted by the friendly staff, as well as customers. Kelley's has a heart warming atmosphere. This bakery is emaculately clean, which is very important to me. They package their products carefully, and presentable too. But most importantly, the minute the pastries touch your pallete, it is heavenly! Perfectly Pleasant. You will not be disappointed. If you haven't had Kelley's, this is worth driving many miles for! I do!!!
