We recently lost our beloved dachshund Xena on 10/2/11. The service we received that day was beyond bad. After complaining to Dr Deo, who is our regular vet that was not there that day, he did some research into what had happened and had us come back in this morning. Dr Deo and Murphy told us that what happened to us will never happen to another client, and refunded our money. They were very sincere and gave me back my faith in their clinic. Our Xena did not die in vain. RIP our sweet Xena
The staff at this facility has been very nice since we first brought our dog, Nala, for her first check up. They took care of her in a very professional way until her death just recently. I always felt that Nala was in the best hands possible everytime she would come for a visit. I thought that the prices were reasonable compared to the other facilities we visited before.
Special thanks to Drs Deo and Bowman, Gina, Ligaya, Jennifer, Vanessa, and the rest of the staff for comforting Nala until her last day.
Our sincerest thanks to Dr Deo, Dr Meads, Jennifer, Ligaya, Gina, Vanessa, Brenda, and Murphy for thei nice and comforting words about Nala.
I highly recommend this facility to every pet owner looking for quality care and reasonable cost.
The very first time I took my dog to this Vet, I had wonderful things to say about it the establishment. At the time and currently, I have been unemployed. During the first visit, I explained my situation. They were very understanding and gave me options. When the nurse brought in the estimate of charges, she worked with me to ensure my "Bo," would get the medical attention he needed and we eliminated some of the procedures--lowering the total cost. The second time I went there, my "Bo," had a foxtail in his ear. I specifically requested a female DR. This was a different Dry than the first one. She gave me options. All fees paid for, left me were satisfied. Today, "Bo," was scheduled for vaccinations. I called around comparing prices. They do have decent prices for the vaccinations. Unfortunately, my dog got something in his paw last night and it was infected. I performed my in-home emergency care last night and today his paw was more swollen. I took him into the clinic. Dr. Deo came in and immediately said, "He needs surgery. I need to give him a shot for pain." I explained I didn't have any monies and needed to know the cost. $287.00. He cut open "Bo's" paw and there wasn’t anything inside the paw. The nurse said "It must have worked its way out!" How about; “IT WAS NEVER THERE TO BEGIN WITH!!
THIS Dr. Deo IS A RIP OFF!
I will now file in small claims court to get my mines BACK!!
When there is a fistula wound in the paw it is standard of care to explore for a foreign body. Not exploring the wound could allow the object to go deeper into the tissue and cause swelling and infection. A very reasonable estimate was given and approved. Our hospital is honest and ethical and would never do unnecessary procedures.
