| About: | The Greek scenes painted on the walls, coupled with the restaurant's pretty white tablecloths, create a pleasant atmosphere in this little place called Wahib's Middle East Restaurant. Whether you want to drop in for a Mediterranean-style breakfast or a meal served later on in the day, you won't be disappointed. Consider ordering one of the excellent lamb entrees or vegetarian dishes. Some diners come here just for the Lebanese sushi or the sauteed frog legs. You will also see people who like the sauteed lamb brain and other Middle Eastern specialties. This restaurant also serves lamb liver raw or sauteed. |

Good but not Great!: Has an authentic feel and taste. It's worth checking out.
This is the reason I eat Medd food!!: We always order takeout from this restaurant. VERY BIG portions and the food has full of flavor. The desserts are quite authentic and the dolmas are great. Certain medd restaurants I've visited don't really have good dolmas...either it's too sour or tastes just funny. I've enjoyed every time I've ordered from here. In regards to the interior atmosphere, it pretty average indoors. When you go to the back of the restaurant, you might get a chance to smoke the hooka pipe with the owner himself, Wahib. This is a very nice man that I've encountered a couple times. Always customer first. Saturdays can be busy with the live dancing but I guarantee that once you've tried the food, it'll be your favorite.
Best Middle Eastern Food in the SGV: Good variety of dishes, authentic tasting, fresh, and tasty! Shwarma chicken, humus, kebobs, grape leaves, rice, and frog legs are great!.
