I filed a BBB complaint with Wondries Ford. I later found out they weren't even a member of the BBB until they were confronted and then they lied out right to cover their shameful pratices. A warning to all. Don't take your auto for repairs. They will promise to deduct the estimated cost of repairs from the bill. Then, without really checking your car, they give you a outragous and bogus laundry list of made up problems. When you try to reclaim your car to take elsewhere, they won't release it without paying. My bail was $85. This is a carny scam in the 1st degree. No one in their right mind would pay for the crap they recommend.
Great sales department! I called and they gave me a quote on the phone. When I got there the Corolla I was intereted in was cleaned and equipped just as it was promised. The salesman did not pressure me and I ended up buying because they beat Pasadena, Longo and Puente Hills by at least $500.00. The price was good and the service was even better!!! 10 STARS!!!
Terrible dealership!
I wish I could give it ZERO stars.
Don't walk... RUN away from this place!
The new car salespeople at this dump look like a bunch of slimeballs, and they act even worse.
We went to this dealership with the intention of buying a new Toyota vehicle. We spent some time in the lot narrowing down our choices to four vehicles, then asked a sales person for a test drive. When we returned from driving the second vehicle, he demanded "which of these two cars do you want to buy?" I replied that we weren't finished testing the four vehicles we were interested in. His response was that the test drives were done, "so which car did we want to buy?"
Incredulous, I replied that we needed to finish our research before buying. His response? "If you want to do research, buy a book" and he walked off.
We left the lot, with a vow never to go back. I contacted Toyota USA the next day to tell them of our experience, and they offered to have Wondries sales manager contact us directly to take care of our purchase. I told them "Thank you, but no. I'll never set foot on that lot again."
We took our car shopping to Longo and Toyota of Pasadena, and were treated with courtesy and the utmost of professionalism at both dealerships. We would have happily bought a vehicle from either of these latter dealerships, and ended up purchasing our new vehicle from Toyota of Pasadena, simply because they happened to have the color we wanted in stock at the moment.
