Alpine Inn

For a small mountain town, Alpine has more than its fair share of restaurants worth the 25-minute drive from downtown San Diego. Alpine Inn was the first to become a destination in its own right. Dark woods, a low ceiling and candlelit tables contribute to a quiet, intimate atmosphere. American food rules here and that means beef and lots of it, combined with a few fish dishes and a single sandwich, the Texas Cheeseburger served with Steak Fries. Full bar service is offered.
Hours:
Mo to Sa from 11:00am to 10:00pm,Su from 09:00am to 10:00pm
Went to the Alpine Inn last night. I must say their prime rib is one of the best I have ever eaten. Service was great and the place was packed, just like in the old days!
THE ALPINE INN is finally back to being a fine dining destination ! The new owners are terrific and have done an awesome job of remodeling and updating the restaurant and bar area. New windows have lightened it up, new paint and tan leather booths also help, while still maintaining the original atmosphere! The new hardwood floors and carpet are very attractive and add old world elegance.
The quality of the food is excellent once more! The Freshest Fish, the best Steaks! Delicious Clam Chowder. Delicious New Salads. A great Caesar Salad with add-on choices of Grilled Fresh Salmon, Grilled Shrimp or Chicken as well as old favorites like the Steak & Crab Legs and the Awesome Prime Rib. All come with fresh homemade Bread, Soup or Salad, Choice of Potatoes or Rice Pilaf and Fresh Vegetable. I love the Asparagus! And they have kept the Early-Bird Specials! My favorite is the Fresh Fish of the Day for $12.95.
The Happy Hour Menu from 3-7 ( M-F) is the best. Try the Prime Rib Sliders or the Fried Calamari. The 10oz Angus & Kobe Beef Burger w/ Fries is only $7.95 at Happy Hour! It's Fabulous!
Great Live Music on T--F-S beginning at 9 PM in the Lounge. We live in Alpine and are thrilled to have the "New" Alpine Inn . No need to go "Down the Hill"!
Haven't been to the Alpine Inn for a year or two. My boyfriend & I went for Happy hour and the food was excellent. My boyfriend had rib & fries and I had fish tacos and calamari. The happy hour prices were very reasonable. We will be back!!!!
