    Very bad customer service!!!!!
I had dinner there with my husband and a few friends the other night and when the check came we paid with a debit card and left a cash tip. The check was $90 or so and we left a $20 tip (pretty resonable if I do say so myself) anyway as we were walking out the waitress came up to me and asked me if the service was not satisfactory. I told her we were more then happy and she then asked "well why didn't you leave a tip?" I said we did and that it was in cash. She proceeded to tell me we hadn't and then asked for another tip. Yes, she really asked!!! It gets even better... I was heated I gave her the money (another $20 bill) because I was pressured into it. Then after a few minutes of really being pissed I calmed down and went back into the restraunt to speak to the manager. I felt it was rude for the waitress to ask for a tip first off after already knowing we left one. Secondly, I thought the manager should know wat was going on because either her waitress was stealing or maybe a busyboy stole the money. The manager could care less!! She didn't appologize at all and then told me if I wanted to complain more to call the general manager. I haven't done that yet but you know I will. I am shocked about the horrible customer service and I will never go back there again!!!!!!

Terrible food!! Got a grilled fish taco and it was bland and the fish was stinky and not fresh. My friends ordered a multitude of other entrees and no one was overwhelmingly impressed with their meal!! The only thing we sampled that was good was the "rattlesnake eggs". Would not return!!

Well first off over all I would like to say that I like the place as an escape from going downtown. I think the overall atmosphere of the place is cool on Fridays and Saturdays, but weeknights are something to be desired. The food is good and the drinks are strong but so is the price if you are on a budget. The nightlife is what really attracts me to this spot, the Friday night resident DJ has been there forever and is by far my favorite. He is the spiked hair Asian guy. I think his name is Gary. As for the rest of the DJ's I am not so sure of, but the crowd's forgiving ear makes up for the lack of talent on Wednesday, Thursday and even sometimes Saturday DJing failures. Another highlight of the bar are the Bartenders. The friendly staff have awesome memories and will pour your drinks fast even on nights when they are at maximum capacity. As an added bonus they now serve alcohol on the patio which has chairs and tables surrounding fire pits. As for all the previous comments regarding the "Ghetto" side of the bar are far from the reality. Coyote has a strict dress code that consist of no rips in jeans, no baggy clothing, hats must be on straight, shirts below waistline tucked in, etc. And that's only the ones that I can remember. Security is there, but they are a bit on the meathead side of things and most could use some communication training. All in all I like the place and I haven't had a problem there yet. So I would recommend this place to anyone trying to stay in the North County and get their groove on. But keep in mind they do have a cover of $5 after 10pm on most nights. (A bit greedy if you ask me, but still cheaper than most places.)
