As a long term customer, I was appalled by the upselling attempts and high prices at the Service Department on my last, and final visit. I went in for routine service. The service writer called me to tell me that (1) I needed some light bulbs (sure, go ahead and put them in), and (2) to give me the sad news that maybe I should get a new master cylinder put in at the tune of $1200 because the service tech noticed oil. (Huh?) When I went in to pick up vehicle, the cost to install the 2 light bulbs was $57.00. I was furious. Then he told me, well, to be honest, people have driven years with the kind of "master cylinder" problems you have with no problem. So, what is it, service writer? When I ranted, the service tech, in front of a line of people, said, oh, I will call you tomorrow and we will take care of removing this charge for the bulbs. He never called and never removed the charge, probably because there was no line of people for show. As far as master cylinder work, give me a break! I have yet to see any oil leaking in my driveway on the concrete. If you go there, be prepared for a lot of upselling and be on the defensive. Although I have been a customer for about the last 7 years, I think they are getting out of hand with being pricey and more upselling attempts. And, they never called me back about the refund. It was all show, I guess. My 7 plus year relationship with them is ended on a really bad note.
WOW!: Alright, we went here the other day just to ask some few question about the Scion TC 05. Then we saw the "Crossfire." We like the car alot! My husband test drive it and he loved it. Next thing you know we were inside the shop working on papers. They made it that much easier for us to get the car. Never met anybody who are very persistent (in a good way). Gave us a great deal on the car, and guess what? Yes! We left the parking with the "crossfire."
Great truck buying experience: I purchased a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab TRD at Toyota of El Cajon. Simeon assisted my wife and I. He was very informative and enjoyable. We used the AAA car-buying service for the first time and could have been happier. The whole process of test-driving to driving off the lot with a new truck took about 2 hours.
