Coolest tattoo place ever! I just turned 18 and my parents were paying for my FIRST tattoo. I was sooooooo nervous and I've been wanting a tattoo forever! LOL Anyways, I called the shop to ask about pricing and Tim (one of the tattoo artists) had answered the phone. I spoke with Tim about my tattoo design and he said that he would take care of me and to come into the shop. I was so excited and nervous at the same time. We got there, went upstairs and to my surprise, the place was huge!!! We entered the shop and asked for Tim and there he was lol, sitting in his station busy tattooing. :) He got up, introduced himself, shook everyones hand and greeted us with a big smile. He said he had about 10 more minutes of tattooing, so we decided to take a look around the shop. After Tim was done with his client, He and I sat down and talked about my tattoo design. He grab a piece of paper and a colored pencil and started sketching away. When he finished, he showed it to me and I was like OMG! He drew up exactly what I wanted, but way better than what I had in mind. :) I was sooooo excited and happy that I was finally going to get my tattoo. My tattoo took about 2.5 hours and the entire time, Tim made sure that I was doing okay. :) I love how my tattoo turned out and I cant wait to get more! I'm definitely going back to Tim to get my next tattoo! He does awesome work! Check out his portfolio www.myspace.com/tattoozbytim he does awesome work! Thanks Tim, You ROCK! C-ya real soon! :p
They were total ass holes. All I wanted was a ball park range of how much my tatt would be and he gave me attitude and hung up on me. It was not professional at all. Do not go there.
I read a number of reviews for local tattoo/piercing shops Dutch tattoo seemed to have good ratings and was fairly close by so... having given some careful considerataion to my wifes new nipple piercings like where to get it done who has an expert and dedicated piercer available. as well as wanting to check out a shop with competant artist for some of my next tattoos. First of all i gave tham a call and it just so happened that the man who answered the phone was to be our piercer i asked him a barrage of questions about issues and concerns i had read about online while researching this particular piercign for my wife. not once did he stutter or hesitate to answer any of my questions and there was a very real tone of confidene and "matter-of_factness" in his voice a very definate level of profesionalism just over the phone. after hanging up the phone with Seth (the piercer) i talked to the wife and we headed straight down being the idiot i am i forgot directiions and had to call while on the road, Seth again gave us some help and we were there in minutes. after enterign the shop my wife and I browsed around and saw tons of tattoo materials to have a look through as well as all the artists portfolios displayed in digital picture frames on the wall!!!! that to me was pretty freaking awsome very neat and clean shop. As for the piercing itself it went seemlessly Seth was very profesional very informative and it helps to have some personality which he did made it a very comfortable situation (as comfortable as a guy can be while another man is poking holes in his barechested wifes nipple's) post pierce, payed the man for a job well done listed again to the aftercare instructions took a few cards to hand out to buddies and i have decided i will be back with my next tattoos to this shop Been in San Diego for about 7 years now and this is definately the very 1st shop that actually impressed me with its cleansliness and profesionalism of its staff. i only gave it 5 stars cause 6 were unavailable.
