My husband and I have been eating at Joe's for more than 15 years, I know that because this was one of our first date dinners. From the first time we ate there we have never been disappointed. Occasionally, the servers seem a little overwhelmed but overall the food is great, The bread, salad and every entree I've ever eaten has been delicious. The atmosphere is romantic, quiet and charming. I would eat at Joe's over any of the "large chain" Italian restaurants in our area any day of the week! If you want speed and noise, this is probably not the place for you. However, if you want to digest your food and quietly enjoy the company of the people you are with, Joe's is the place for you and your date/friends.
My husband, son, and I have been to Joe's on three different occassions; needless to say...WE ARE IMPRESSED. We love the family owned business with Angelina knowing everything we want, to Joe making a special dish for my husband. This place is for true Italian lovers who have excellent taste. Joe, Anglenia thank you for making us feel at home.
My husband and I have been going to Joe's for about 28 years. We often take other couples with us when we want to be in an atmosphere that feels cozy and semi-private. The music played in the background is always subdued-Italian Opera;it never overwhelms our conversations. I ALWAYS order the lasagna, but friends have raved over the eggplant and chicken dishes. The waitresses and busboy have been there forever; the girls are family to the owner and we have watched them grow up. The soup is very nice, the salad is basic, the bread...quite delicious! If you go on a Friday evening in the summer, you will find yourself in the midst of "Cruisin' Grand", a local vehicle parade of classics, complete with street vendors and 50's music. A fun evening for all! Go early and dine "open air" with a front-row seat to the activities.
