excellent: A great Deli away from home ( New York ) We found the staff pleasant and efficient. The matzo ball soup was the best I have ever tasted. Go on Sundays and listen to Sam the harp player. Our family visiting from out of State always needs to have a Hershels fix when in town. Reccommended.

Good Emulation of some NY favorites: Not many down this way so you need to appreciate the food and the staff for sure. Some of the traditional things are great such as, soup, kreplach, etc. Sandwiches are big and meaty. All in all this restaurant could be great on any given night. It is certainly good 7 days a week. Perfect after the races too.

Definitely recommended!

ok: This resturant always feels like it could use a good scrubbing! The staff is sometimes on the rude and impatient side.
