Pretty good. I agree that they are not consistent with quality. Sometimes the food and service was excellent and other times so-so. The prices are a little high but for the most part the food is really great. Plenty to choose from. My husband and I were there for Valentines day and that was probably our best experience. The 3 course meal was so good and we got to take our leftover wine home with us.
way too pricey! Basically a rip off, the food is good but served in very small servings. I had the cheapest entree at 22 dollars, which was sweet potato raviolis and there were only six raviolis on my plate! ? They actually have the audacity at this place to charge their customers for water, we were charged 6 dollars for a pretentious serving of Fiji bottled water, outrageous! Go back to France! The desserts were bland , the type cake I had was a tiny slice for 9 dollars. This place is a complete rip off , I don't care if the atmosphere is nice, it is snobbery at its finest. For a dinner for two, which was two entrees, two desserts, a bottle of water and a diet coke the total without even counting the tip was a pretentious 80 dollars. No way never again, the sauces weren't that fantastic, hacienda de vega has more sophisticated tasted for almost half the price and they won't charge for water either!
One of the best food in San Diego but also one of the most unpredictable service ranging from good to worst. Do not take people that count on service (which one should when just considering the price you are paying!) or if you want to treat or impress someone! We used to love going there but would not return as we have been let down big 3 times now! It is a pity!

You have got to be kidding. Vincent's is one of the best if not THE best restaurants in all of San Diego' Vincent's sauces are incomparable and his duck is the best outside of Paris. When you go to a French restaurant yhou do NOT race your way thru thru menu. Pity- you will not get this cooking at their price anywhere in San Diego!!!!
