User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis is an older established Mexican restaurant. The staff is friendly. It sits on Main St. between Napa, and Circle K. The food is authentic, freshly prepared, and very tasty. The Chips & Salsa are made fresh daily and are some of the best in town. You'll enjoy this place. I recommend it highly!
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIf You are a Tourist on a Budget, Eat Here.: The Ambiance really makes this place. Imagine being in an old Western movie and going into a Mexican food place to eat. You walk into the dark room. When your eyes adjust to the darkness, you see traditional colors and paintings on the walls. This old-world, conventional, environment is exactly what I love and have found.
The food is nothing pretentious: traditional Mexican style dishes served on oversized plates. I enjoyed the side order of sour cream I mixed in with my enchiladasâ and washed down with one really good Pina Coloda.
The people around you are friendly as are the employees.
The value for the money you spend is good.
The service is above average.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is one of my favorite reasturants!: My family and i have been going to eat at El Nopal since i can remember. i love the staff they are all friendly and make the dining experiance that much better for there customers. I remember this one time me and my parents were there and they were out of O'dells and thats all my dad wanted to drink so the went next door to the circle K and bought a 6 pack so that he would have the drink that he wanted. This is just one of the many examples of how important it is to them that there customers enjoy themselves. I would highly recommend this reasturant to anyone and everyone!
