About:This trendy La Jolla joint is "the spot" for nightlife and premium cuisine. The bar is popular among thirty-something professionals. Expect to find large crowds, particularly on weekends. Many customers visit this place for one main culinary reason: steak. Utilizing the famous Al Farber's Char-Crust Spices, this restaurant offers a bevy of tantalizing steak specialties. Try the hometown-favorite Junior Seau Steak. And, for those customers who cannot get enough of the homemade barbeque sauce, purchase a bottle to take home. They also serve great hamburgers and sandwiches. See website for full menu.

I love the beach. I make it out to the shores or PB about twice a week for some time in the water and in the sun. This restaurant is in my top three favorites in San Diego for some easy food and a beer.

They have a huge menu so I can always get what I want. It's a real traditional looking place, they got good music and most of their staff is pretty great. They hire a lot of college kids but some have been there for as long as I can remember. I mostly go in the early evenings when Mario, AK or Nicole are bartending. Mario is their old school bar tender, AK is a little crazy, Nicole is ahem...curvy? The place is always busy for dinner and serves the food up pretty quick, try the thin crust Pizza or a BYOB (Build Your Own Burger) if you want some of their best stuff.

I brought my family there over the holiday weekend on Sunday or Monday and had my first bad experience in probably 50 visits. My waitress, Johanna, was just not around enough and wasn't very nice when she was there. I would give the place a 5 if the service this last time was better. Its a great place regardless, I will be a regular for LIFE!!!

Very Crowded on a Tuesday nite 3/25/08 (Spring Break).....1/2 hour wait. Party of seven and everyone loved the food. I had a Reuben Sandwich that was excellent. The Pizza & Burgers were a big hit by a few in our Party. Don't know the Server's name, but was a Young Man and he was very friendly and attentive. Not a Fancy place, a relaxed fun atmosphere.

The pizza is AMAZING. Great deep pie style. Takes a long time to bake but is worth it. Good salads too for while you are waiting on the pizza.
