| About: | If you enjoy premium sushi, do not miss this restaurant in North County. A friendly greeter is located at the front of the restaurant to welcome new guests. Inside the dining area, all four walls are plastered in Oriental decorations. Many guests dine at the sushi bar, located in the back corner of the restaurant. Sushi entrees are served throughout the day. Try the hometown favorite, known as the San Diego Platter. It includes 12 rolls (tuna, white fish, shrimp, octopus, salmon, egg and six California rolls). |

This is the best Sushi restaurant ever!!
I tried Sushi Taco, Salmon Lemon Roll, and Calemari Salad..
It's sooo gooooood!!!!!!
Good Service, Good Food..
I will go there again.
My favorite restaurant. This message is to the new owner. Still great food but you need to train your waitresses, like Mits did. Example Don't let my Ice tea run out and when you refill my ice tea put more fresh ice in it.
This is my first time at Kurando Restaurant. I live in the East Bay (San Jose - Oakland - San Francisco) and I've enjoyed much better sushi than this place. I don't know why the reviews for this place is at a 5star! When I saw 5 stars, i immediately decided to go here and when I saw the menu, there were very few selections of sushi rolls. when i ordered sashimi, they didn't give me ginger or lime with it. when i asked for the ginger, it was sweet like sugar. their wasabi isn't as spicy as wasabi up in nor cal. most of the rolls that we ordered: Hawaiian Crunch Roll, Holliday Roll, Sakura Hama..i forgot the name. but it was all sweet, and it's not supposed to be sweet. Their fish were very fresh..but that doesn't cut it. I would give a 3 out of 5 for service and a 1 out of 5 for food.
by the way, those who give this place a 5 star, are you guys expert at sushi or this is your first time trying this place? it's awful! I recommend when you got to Oakland, CA. try SUSHI BOAT in alameda, ca (across the bridge from oakland) one thousand times better than this place.
