| About: | Guests visit this restaurant to feast on innovative sushi rolls, including spicy and Southwestern combinations. The inside decor is simplistic and the service is no-frills but cheerful. In fact, most guests cast their attention to the talented sushi chefs, displaying their craft at the bar. Try one of the original sushi combinations. A tribute to the Southwest is noted in the "Barrio Roll." This roll offers tuna, cilantro and serrano chili, served with fresh salsa. Vegetarian rolls are also available. |

Aside from it being pricey, which isn't that unexpected for being in La Jolla, I had the teriyaki chicken, & it was totally inedible - dry & tough!
I love the happy hour!: The sushi can be a bit expensive, but VERY good. For those who only eat california rolls and the such it is a GREAT place to hit at happy hour. They have a decent selection on their happy hour menu for under $4 each. My kids just LOVE this place!
Good but WAY EXPENSIVE: Spent almost $30 on a shared plate of a chef's special (with my friend) and a bento box... ouch! If I wanted Sushi I'd just goto an all-you-can-eat sushi bar from now on... The food was good though.
