sunflower132Posted on 08/11/09*When I was pregnant with my son,(35 yrs. ago) my Dr. would say something about my weight that would depress me...So...I had to stop...See More*When I was pregnant with my son,(35 yrs. ago) my Dr. would say something about my weight that would depress me...So...I had to stop at PepperTree and get a large hot fudge sundae, made with the wonderful chocolate ice cream and a double helping of the hot fudge!! ( All the "baby weight" was gone in 6 wks.) So....to celebrate..off to PepperTree I went...Yummy!! Hamburgers are no longer 5/$1...but they're still as delicious now as they were in. Sure was sad to see the big pepper tree cut down, that really made stopping a real treat in the summer.Report AbuseWrite a comment ... -

The owners are some of the...See MorePepper Tree Frosty is a Vista Landmark that has been around since before Vista was even established. The owners are some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. The food is awesome and the ice cream is out of this world. My personal favorites are the chocoloate peanut-butter malt and the boca grilled-mushroom burger. I don't think there has ever been a customer who didn't like it. -

If you don't like ice cream, you're just un-American!! This is a Vista tradition, and everyone in my family loves it. Everyone has their own favorites, dipped cones, shakes, sundaes, but mine is the rootbeer freeze. You take ice cream and rootbeer and they mix it into a thick shake-like treat. You can do any flavor ice cream with any flavor soda - mix and match and find your favorite.
