I had some old gold jewelry that no one in the family wanted. I knew it would be difficult for me to sell online, so I started searching for a credible way to sell gold locally. That's when I found San Diego Jewelry Buyers and Carl Balckburn online. All of the reviews were very positive. I called and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Carl was very patient and professional in answering my questions and tested the gold in front of me, explaining the process simultaneously. None of the pieces were singularly very valuable, but together they added up. And, I walked away with more cash than I estimated I could have gotten trying to sell the pieces individually online (and that would have taken hours!). The entire transaction was 15-20 minutes and I definitely walked away feeling that I had been treated fairly. Carl is highly professional and a pleasure to work with. My Mom lives on the East coast and is now sending me her old gold jewelry to take to Carl -- that's how much we think of him. Thank you, Carl!

After reading many reviews from happy customers of San Diego Jewelry Buyers, I met today with Carl Blackburn, founder and co-owner, to sell some old family jewelry. I was EXTREMELY pleased with Carl's professionalism, and with the friendliness of Carl and his staff. Because of my great experience selling jewelry today, I look forward to meeting with Carl next week, to sell more unused family jewelry.

For quite awhile I had been thinking about selling some old gold jewelry that was broken and/or that I no longer wear, but I kept putting it off because I was not sure it would be worth my time and also I wasn't looking forward to dealing with a buyer. Carl was extremely nice and patient with my many questions and stayed past his usual closing time. It was a pleasure to deal with Carl and the amount I was paid for my gold was a VERY pleasnt surprise. I have been handing out SDJB business cards to my friends and colleagues and highly recommend visiting Carl or at least giving him a call if you have any gold or jewelry to sell.
