Very nice people. Good rooms. Average breakfast. Lots of noise from nearby railroad and commuter lines. This is not a bayside hotel as it is a long 6 blocks from the beach, but it is convenient to Amtrak.
Don't Mind Staying There Again: The hotel was in the convenient location and the top attractions were closed by. The location was decent and it did had a nice view of the skyline. I wish I got a room of the San Diego Bay, but I would have to pay a little more. I do moderately recommend staying there if you're on a strict budget. It's good for couples and families. So if looking for a decent place to stay and for a good value, try staying here and you won't be too disappointed.
Train Noise: The hotel its self was average. Just in case you didnât know there some major rail traffic just a block away everything from commuter to commercial and it just doesnât stop. I was trying to assure my wife that it would stop by midnight. Ya, right!! It wasnât just the rail noise the whistles that were so cute during the day was like the snooze alarm going off through the night.
