High energy metal from Ocean Beach, CA
Check out COMFORT IN RAGE
I went here for the first time the other night to see the Vibrators. I must say, I really like this place. Great sound system, a wide variety of drinks, and friendly security. They have pool tables and pinball machines in the back. The drinks were a tad pricey in my book. The opening acts (a couple of local punk bands), Abject and Rich White Males were plenty of fun...as were the Vibrators. I hear parking can be a problem at this place, but I found a spot just down the street...granted it wasn't a very busy night.
The True Rock n' Roll Dive: Best place in SD next to SOMA for "true" rock and roll!!! G.G.Allin was here back when it was called The Spirit. Alot of famous bands came up through this establishment. Go check it out!!
