    Stumbled on the bad review by Bob and had to write! This is one of the best Italian places I've found in SD (other is Il Fornaio on Coronado), and I am picky. I've been there many times and yes, it can get crowded and yes, sometimes the service could be a little better, but other times they go above and beyond! Food is very good, certainly not bland,and pricing is moderate for San Diego. If you are from Kansas or some other place where you want to buy a piece of lasagna in Olive Garden for $5, don't come here. Save it for the rest of us SD locals who heard of this place by word of mouth (they don't advertise really) and I'll enjoy my Italian here sans hicks.

    Is Bob W kidding? Who complains about their food being too hot? There are certain thing this restaurant does right. The candle lit ambiance is nice. The pizzas and salads are worth every penny. The service is not always perfect, but I found that the service mirrors the patron's behavior. If you don't abuse your server then your server will not abuse you. If you believe that the customer is always right, regardless of the situation, then you should pick a different restaurant.
