By American standards, the food is quite odd, but well worth going for the experience and culture. The owner, staff and atmosphere make you feel like a welcome guest. The food is expensive and they take their time cooking it, but like I said it is worth it. I would highly recommend this place especially to take a date.

This authentic Russian - Georgian restaurant is simply amazing! If you have been dying for a taste of the old country, this is definately the place for your family and you. Don't go by yourself. This is a family style, family sized portions. Most importantly, the food is incredible, to put it mildly. I can not in good conscious tell you one dish to order, because you won't want to eat just one dish. Share! Personally, I love the Meat Borscht, and the Schi. The Russian BBQ Beef is so tender, moist and full of flavor. The Golubtsi is moist and delicious, as good as mother used to make. If you want a real treat, or treat that someone special in your life, go on Fri or Sat and have the Shashlik (Chicken, Pork or Lamb or Vegi). The Aroma of the outdoor grill fills the air and will make your mouth water long before entering the amazing restaurant.The Specials are more than that, they are culinary delights. I must recommend having the Russian Tea with Sweet Black Currant juice. A Cold Russian Ginger Ale or a good Russian Beer will also go very nicely with your meal. I sincerely disagree with the other reviews, our service was top notched. Your service will probably be from the entire staff as they work very nicely together to provide you with a warm, comfortable feeling. Like visiting the grandparents. Warm Friendly smiles greet you at the door and continue throughout the meal. Drinks are refilled. Service was excellent. I would recomment calling ahead for reservations, just to be on the safe side. These Folks have gone out of their way to give you a dining experience not seen anymore today. Finally, Prices are very fair, considering the large portions that you receive. Additionally, I would like to inform you to plan in advance and stop by the bank and grab cash. Leave home without American Express, There are some things Mastercard can't buy, and Pomegranate takes cash, not Visa.

Great food!: Food is amazing! I recommend ordering multiple dishes and sharing. Borscht, Golubtsi (vegetarian and meat) and Stroganoff were excellent. Service is extremely slow. Don't go if time is an issue.
