Phil's BBQ

Phil's bbq has moved to bigger better location in Point Loma, next to the Sports Arena koby's swap meet. Anyways best bbq I've ever had, it's got affordable items so it you crave it on a budget you can still go. Their toll free number is 877-257-4457. My favorite restaurant is San Diego.

Put the address in the navigation system on our rental car, it took us to an empty storefront under construction. Drove around the block about 3 times and asked a local if they knew where it was. They didn't know anything about it. Must be good though, the priest at the Catholic church in Old Town was promoting an evening get-together with ribs from Phil's on the menu and the locals were diggin it. We couldn't find it.

Wait if you have to wait...it's always worth it. Or call it in and take it home. Phil's is a little bit of heaven in you mouth. Forget everything and go for the baby backs...yummm! I like to get my fries on the side instead of under the rack, and if you ask nicely they will let you order two or three onion rings with your dinner. They are worth the extra time on the treadmill. Don't forget the mack salad!
