Ok, this was one of the strangest restaraunts I have ever been too. Absolute chaos! They had 4 servers and for some reason, instead of having each server do certain sections, they each did one table in each area of the restaraunt. They even split up the biergarten. Why do I mention this? We spent at least 2 hours in this place, because our server took off for a half hour at time. This other server was running around, like a junkie trying to find her stash. Man it was wierd, like some strange dream. I will say the food was tasty, but the environment and the servers along with the wrinkled death squatting at the bar, I just wanted to go in the bathroom and slit my wrists. Uggg.

Awful: My mom and a group of her friends went for lunch. When they complained that the Spaetzle tasted like dishwashing liquid the waiter and owner acted like it was the guests fault. Needless to say we as well as our friends will not be returning.

Best German food in San Diego: Kaiserhof has the best German food in San Diego. The restaurant has a large menu with many authentic German dishes. Make certain to bring your appetite because the food really fills you. My personal favorite is their Schweinshaxe. Of course they have a whole range of beers. If you have room try the Apple Strudel for dessert.
