Apparently, this place has been open for at least a couple of years now. At first, I kept hearing how screwed up management was. I didn't actually dine here until last night. I guess everyone was right! This place IS screwed up!! Food is GREAT, can't deny that! The restaurant itself is GORGEOUS! Our waiter completely FORGOT to bring our appetizer!! Young workers walk around with no clue on how to make guests feel welcome! The least our waiter could've done for us was to waive the charge for dessert...he didn't. I've been to a couple of other CF in and around Los Angeles and have never encountered these issues!! Maybe it's just this CF! Either way, I will never go back again to the Otay Ranch CF.
I am a cheesecacke factory fan ,great food selection
great taste, friendly staff the best resturant ever . fast srvice , i highly recomend it.
This place is a great restaurant, if you don't mind all the people and noise -- BUT, the management of this place is one of the most screwed up I have ever encountered. This particular CK Factory was not listed in any phone directory. I had to go on line to get the telephone number. The first person I talked to had no idea, nor did the second person, THE MANAGER ("Oh, I'll have to check into that). My question was about a lunch reservation. The first person told me, "no problem; we take reservations for the first hour we are open, 11-Noon)." I said I'd like to make a reservation. "Fine. I'll get the manager." (what the ....!; why a manager??) I said the same thing to him. He said, "OK, we take reservations for the first half hour we are open (11-11:30), but not after that." Hunh?? But, I was just told ... blah, blah, blah. You get the picture. Go there ONLY if you want a nice meal in a place that is totally screwd up and be prepared to wait if you don't have a reservation. If you do have a reservation, you won't have to wait, but you wouldn't have to wait, anyway, because you can only make reservations for 11-11:30, or in other words just after the birds get up and hardly anyone is there anyway! Who is running this place? The Marx brothers??
