What a delight! Our family dined at Thee Bungalow on 11/14/08 to celebrate our son's graduation from Marine Corps boot camp. Our server, Eric, was very friendly and knowledgeable and great about making suggestions or recommendations. Our food was excellent--the lobster bisque actually rendered me speechless. Our 11 year old "foodie" daughter was especially impressed by the presentation, and I loved the extensive wine list. From amuse bouche of beets drizzled in truffle oil to creme brulee, every minute of our visit was memorable. I hope I can find an excuse to go to San Diego again soon so I can dine at Thee Bungalow once more!
We visited thee bungalow on 1/15/08 and had a wonderful meal. Service was excellent. Very pleased. I had read other megative reviews and thus when we had such a great meal and experience I was compelled to provide this review. A definite thumbs up recommendation!

The week long advertised $20.08 special three course meal is misleading. Each person gets an entree,
BUT the first course appetizer is a single serving to be shared by two persons--the menu says so, as is the
dessert, a single small serving (Mousse or creme brulee') arriving in a small ramekin with two spoons.
Dining with a friend or aquaintance doesn't lend itself to such familiarity or potential germ spreading.- This was
truly NOT A THREE COURSE MEAL. The rating reflects deceptive advertising more than food.
