   My experience with SCUBA San Diego was horrible. My wife and I went out with them on a guided shore dive to the La Jolla Kelp Forest. We were beginner divers and were told the guides would be able to handle us and accomodate our needs. The guides were rude and the service was nasty. We recommend to anyone to seek elsewhere. We were thoroughly displeased.

   One of few excellent places to get underwater experience, snorkeling, and kayaking in La Jolla and San Diego. Very experienced and friendly staff. One of best scuba instruction places in San Diego with the instructor of over 35 years of experience. Highly recommended.

   Bad experience with Scuba San Diego: This review for Scuba San Diego in La Jolla Cove hopefully will help you avoid a very bad dive experience, save you some money, and help minimize your vacation disappointments.
   My wife and I have completed six dives under (plus certification dives) but consider ourselves beginners (although fully trained). Wewent on the La Jolla Kelp Forest dive with Scuba San Diego after being informed by a staff member on the phone that their guides are familiar with all experience levels including those who have never dived outside of certification.
   
   On 19 August 2005, we met our guide Stephan and another diver who had only four dives. Stephan was not a happy person: grumpy and condescending from the start; my overall impression was that he was not enthused about taking us out and that we were intruding on his morning.
