We have been taking our dog to Camp Diego 6+ years. She absolutly loves it; can't wait to get out of the car. The staff is great and loves the pets. We have boarded daily and weekly while out of town. They even give her baths and nails when asked. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Irresponsible Day Care: I took my dog there once with no problems. The second time I brought him there he developed "cherry eye." Cherry eye can be caused by a number of different ways, including trauma. While I do not have enough evidence to support that claim, I can blame them for not reporting it to me IMMEDIATELY. The condition happened on a Wednesday afternoon and I was not told about this until Thursday afternoon, by my roommate. They did not call me, at anytime, to tell me of his condition. By this time, his eye was almost swollen shut and I had to bring him to the emergency vet. If they would have told me about this Wednesday, I would have picked him up that day, avoided the $150 emergency vet bill, and had him looked at immediately by my vet. Not to mention that keeping him there a full 24 hours after the condition occurred left his eye open to more infection and bacteria at a kennel with other dogs. With all that said, I will NEVER bring my dog back there. A simple phone call would have ended the situation with Camp Diego right there. Instead, they got their $63 and I am writing this review.

Camp Diego is the Greatest: We have taken our two dogs to Camp Diego for years, sometimes just for the afternoon to play and also have boarded them for periods of over 2 weeks while we were on vacation. Our dogs run to get in the door and have always come home to us happy and healthy. Everyone there loves animals and gives them lots of love and attention. The place is spotless. I can't imagine a better place for your pets.
