Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: i love this movie theater it is awesome and plus when your done watching the movie you can go shopping right after that or you can get a quick lunch and go shopping and it is great
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsTips on Movie Going in SD: Going to the movies has become a favorite thing of mine to do. Living in SD, I definitely have quite a few choices when it comes to what theater I wish to go to. Most of you know that I am not a small woman, height-wise...I almost 6 feet tall! So can you imagine how difficult it is to find suitable seats for these long old legs of mine? It is a rare thing to find a movie theater that hasn't changed its seating to the taller, more comfortable seats, but leg room is still an issue for me and anyone else close to my height. AMC Fashion Valley 18 is my favorite theater, not only because it has the proper style of seating, but also because of it's location. It's in the Fashion Valley Mall, on the south side. The way to get to this theater with the least amount of traffic is to get off on hotel circle and back track just a little bit...following your shopping nose until you get to the backside of the mall. I always find parking to be atrocious, except in Parking Structure C...so that's where I always look first, unless I'm there for the Cheesecake Factory which is on the opposite side of the mall. Anyhow, the entrance to the movies is on the second floor, right smack dab in the middle of the food court....YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!! If you try to go to this theater on the weekend, you'd better buy your tickets in advance or you can just forget about it!

Yes, popular, new movies often sell out in this theater due to the fact it is pretty small. Mission or Hazard is usually the next option, but Fashion is the best.
