| About: | Having moved from its original location, The Liars' Club is still many things to many people. Local foodies know this is the place for hearty grilled meals at low prices. Punk rockers come for the juke box, which is heavy on the Pogues, the Clash and Mr. Johnny Cash. Penny pinchers keep track of all the different daily Happy Hour specials. Party girls prance in for a rainbow of colorful and expertly mixed cocktails. Beer enthusiasts worship the club's tremendous variety of rare imports and micros (including locally produced award winners from the likes of Port Brewing). Clotheshorses fall all over themselves trying to decide from among the wide selection of crude-but-distinctive souvenir Liars' Club t-shirts, hats and undergarments (each emblazoned with its own special lie). User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLiars Club is THE Best!: Liars club is great. Good food, great beer and the prices are low too. Be careful, when the menu says spicy they really mean it!! Check out their specials that are advertised in the San Diego City Beat.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCoolest beer bar in San Diego: This is definitely not a Latin or Mexican restaurant, but is actually a stop for beer lovers. Here & O'Brien's have the best selection in town --lots of local beers on tap & outstanding food. Try the ahi tuna sandwich or the epic burgers.
