About:Soltan Baroo began as the tiny Cafe Caspian, a gift shop and a tea house started by Mahim and her daughters Roxanne and Sanam, where they served tea and sold Mahim's handmade crafts and an occasional taste of her wonderful cooking. The response was so positive that Mahim and her daughters soon opened Soltan Banoo, in order to provide authentic Persian dining to a growing crowd of regulars in the area. The menu features many of Mahim's personal recipes the surroundings are warm, welcoming and filled with exotic charm and a distinct family presence. Most dishes are prepared vegetarian-style. Beer and wine are also available.

    The food is great here, the chicken is so moist and tender, like it's roasted on the bone and then pulled off, melts in your mouth. The service is friendly, and the menu is very exotic and full of surprises! Highly recommended!

    what happened to the homey feeling: I used to love this place when the mother was there running the business,since she rarely goes there anymore the atmosphere has changed.Too bad,it used to be a great place .Even the food portions ahave changed.

    Excellent!: Wonderful flavor. Reasonable prices. Excellent service and great decor. Can't beat it! Must try the pomegranite soup!
