There's a full-on metal-to-the-pedal buffet at Fariouz, but my girlfriend and I opted to order off the menu. The food was excellent (as was the service...by the owner/artist himself). The hummos was terrific, as was the spanakopita (sic). My girlfriend enjoyed her lamb dish and salad. The baklava and turkish coffee topped off the meal. I enjoyed the funky atmosphere full of artwork by the restaurant's owner. He really made us feel welcome and then some. Next time, I'm going to try the buffett ($12.99/dinner) and some Lebanese wine (the beer was just so-so...beer from Lebanon that is).
A restaurant and a gallery!!!!!! Whatta great concept! This place offeres excellent greek and labanese food where one can enjoy fine art and healty food. Every time I go there, I am treated as a family member. The warm feeling is always uplifting and always leave recharged. The energy in that place is everywhere!
Place is highly recommended specially for art enthusiasts and vegetarians. Make sure to try their chicken lemon soup. It is a great remedy for the soul.
Great Family restaurant: I went there and asked for Kibee Sumat and the owners sister went home and cooked it to perfection as my grandmother used to and had it ready the next day! I loved it!
