User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWe also experienced the worst dinner here. The steak was good, but the manager's words were the worst. My daughter started coughing in the restaurant, probably because of its air; my daughter is allergic to dusts. The manager said 'you have disturbed other guests' and when I told him that we would leave soon, he seemed satisfied. I have never got such a heartless attitude anywhere in the world. I feel very sorry for cooks who make very good steaks, but we would never go there again. I really recommend the investors to change the manager.

The service I have had at Donovan's has been great and even one time our reservations were messed up and they sent a limo to pick us up at thier expense and STILL honored the time of our original reservation (I called two days prior to confirm the reservation and thats when they found the glitch). Wonderful people and wonderful food.

I must say, this restaurant is really overrated ! The service is weak, the steaks rather bland, and the attitude of the staff is substandard. I always find Island Prime, Mortons and even Ruths Chris Del Mar far superior. If you are thinking about going there, all I can say is don't bother. BUT, I do think they have done a great job of marketing the place to out of towners...

I understand that person comment. I have gone hear twice with the first time the food being very poor and the 2nd time the food was great. I would have not gone the 2nd time because of the cost but it was a free meal. The issue is the place various in quality of food so it is a gamble if you go here and it is expensive. The food might be great or it might be poor. There are more places that the quality is high on a normal place and that's where I would go. When it's good, it's good.

The world doesn't revolve around you, so I would recommend stepping outside or going to the restroom if in the midst of a coughing fit. People aren't paying $100+ to listen to your daughter cough. Get over yourself and factor in the experience of the others. It had to have been bad if the manager reacted in that way.
