This hotel sucks! What a disappointment for having the Hilton name! We checked in at night and the front desk rep asked us if it was ok that our room didn't have a "tub" in it. It was ok because we assumed it would've been a stand up shower. When we got into the room, we came to realize that it was a handicap room because the shower had nothing to separate it from the toilet but a shower curtain. and the toilet had a high handicap seat on top of it. We were just too tired to complain the same night so the next day we had asked to change rooms because we didn't want a handicap room with an uncomfortable toilet seat and the shower part was not cool! The next they offered us probably had barely just gotten cleaned because the maid cart was right in front of it. When we opened the door, it was so muggy in there we had to air it out. It had a very bad odor. The "view" that they've promised us in both rooms were not quite what we expected from a "Hilton" subsidiary. I walked around and saw that almost all of the balconies had bushy, gigantic trees in the way. After moving our luggage to the second room, we went to the mall close by and I had gotten a call from the front lobby. They had asked if I remembered who I gave the money to, the night before (since we paid for cash) because apparently, the money was missing! So I told them who it was. This was drama I didn't need during this vacation! When we left and got home, I realized that my bracelet that my husband had given me on my 15th birthday was missing, and remembered that I had put it on the nightstand. I call the front lobby right away and they transfer me to the housekeeping supervisor's voicemail. I called everyday that week and left her 7 messages in 7 days, and not one phone call back from her. Our overall experience here, I'd have to say is half a star. I wouldn't want to go back here if this is their service. Also, the architectural layout of the place is kinda crazy--it's like a maze with lots of dead ends. Another thing, that bothered me...there was a small card on your pillow saying that in order to conserve energy and natural resources, they would only change the sheets every 3 days or when you check out, unless that card was placed on the pillow. Question--what if we didn't see that card, then our sheets wouldn't get changed? All of the other places we've stayed at, they change the sheets for you no matter what! That's included in the price that you pay for! The only thing we liked about this place was the warm cookie at the lobby that they give you. That was awesome! But there's no way what so ever we'd go back! No thanks!!!
Not what we expected for Hilton sister resort!: My "Golf View" was really a "Bush View", if you walked around the bush there is a golf course. The room was set up nicely...a piece of louver was missing I had to tape up a newspaper because when I was in bed I could see the people on the balcony across so if I could see them they could see me!!!
There was thick dust behind the louvers of the sliding glass door...for the price of a upgrade wasn't worth it at all. The only thing was worth it was the location on and off the freeway.
Will return on next vacation!: I made reservations via Hotwire, so we recieved a good rate. We got a double-bed (queen) room. The room was very spacious with free internet access. We had a patio, but very limited view of the golf course, but that was okay, because we only stayed in room for few hours a day anyway. The service was very good; for example one night, the upstrairs AC unit was leaking and making noises; the next day they quickly fixed it. The golf course is very nice. We will go back again!
