User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsDissapointing, for sure. It's certainly the best looking restaurant in the area, from the outside. But inside, it's a dark, smelly and drafty cave, with a negative attitude. The help grudgingly told us we had 15 minutes to eat when we walked in. The counter guy had a flippant attitude, and was less concerned with us, than with cleaning his station. The food took a surprisingly long time to come to the table, especially considering we ordered a hamburger and a tuna sandwich. The hamburger was quite small, no way 7 ounces as advertised. It was a quarter pounder. Both meals were underwhelming and served with a complete lack of flair or courtesy. It was also surprisingly cold inside. We asked where it would be warmest and were told "sit under the heater". Which was off. Pretty funny.
I wasn't expecting Laguna Beach quality, but these folks are rude, and it's just not worth your time.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsgreat food, friendly people..a little pricey..but not for the city folk..they're used to paying..did i mention the food was really really good?..oh..and we usually call it in and pick it up cause it can be really slow..but that's because their business is really good..again..a testimony to the goodly munchies..
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starscrossroads cafe is a great cool place hot tavern during the fall. truely recommend the tortuga burger with a tall glass of beer! or even a fresh and healthy smoothie.
