    the only "good" thing about the Beatnik was when the local talent would show up and play..the owners were nice enough..but the coffee was "just ok"..and the food..well..i'd rather eat elsewhere(like the Thai restaurant next door)..the Beatnik's doors are closed now..out of business..maybe new life could be breathed back into the place

    This Place has an A rating on the door.
    These guys had to have been paying off the health inspector!! I always look at restrooms before eating anywhere. The Urinal would not flush and was filled with urine. The regular toilet was pretty decrepid, the floors were filthy and In my short stay I noticed several roaches throughout the place. Then when I agreed to sit out back with my friends I noticed the employee (who looked underage) come out back with her friends and smoke Pot. Where are the owners/managers? Do they even care? This place was dirty and had no supervision. Its a Hole! Go next door to the Thai Place!!
