Very nice, friendly and enthusiastic staff. Owners are Cambodian immigrants, who are very proud to be Americans. They have decorated the cafe in a rustic vintage country Americana theme.

All the portions are big, and they are generous and accurate with special requests, trying to please and have fun.

I learned the locals go here for big portions and friendly service.

Very clean kitchen. (I CHECKED!)

Reasonable prices are another reason locals go here and not only the out-of-towners.

Reliable, dependable, and what one expects for an American breakfast spot.

Country Kitchen is a small homey place with warm staff. Good food and great service. Great for family breakfasts!

Neighborly and Rustic: The Country Kitchen has been a landmark for Joshua Tree forever!! Frequented by people like EmmieLou Harris, Victoria Williams, and popular bands such as the Queens of the Stone Age...people tie up their horses for Sunday brunch..and gather after church..hats off and huzzah to Marienne and Peng Uy for keeping the kitchen country and comfy.
